Just picked!!
Journaling reads:
There are few fall flavours from our garden comparable to that of a brandywine tomato.
Fat and oddly shaped, ripe and sun-warmed, it practically begs to be devoured without ceremony or preparation.
So we stand, the kids and I, in the brisk breeze, amidst the decaying foliage, our chins dripping seeds and pulp, slurping merrily.
These are the real fruits of season.
